There are two buttons in play. In pop-up mode, one button on the page opens the form and a second, the Purchase button, sits inside it. The Button customization tab styles the one on the page, under the heading Popup opening button. In embedded mode the tab still opens, but its controls are replaced by an untranslated Polish notice offering to switch back to pop-up.
Button text takes up to 40 characters, and Button subtitle (optional) adds a smaller second line, which is a good place for a delivery promise. The opening button cannot show the order total. That belongs to the purchase button inside the form, which is edited from its own row in Manage form fields: two chips there, + Total amount and + Subtotal amount, insert a placeholder that is replaced by the real figure on the storefront, so that button can read something like "Order now for 49.90".
The controls are Background color, Text color, Font size, Border radius, Shadow size and Border width, plus Button icon with Icon position set to Left or Right. A button that looks nothing like your theme reads as an advert, so borrow your own primary button and change the colour.
Button animation offers None, Pulse, Shake, Flash, Bounce and Highlight, and is set to None by default. Animation repeat interval controls how often it plays, with the note "How often the animation repeats. Lower = more frequent."
Scroll to Preferences. The explanation reads "The sticky button pins the CTA to the customer's view and makes purchasing easier. Works only on product pages." Enable sticky button on mobile is on by default and Enable sticky button on desktop is off. You can pin it to the Bottom of the screen, which is the default, or the Top of the screen. The sticky button belongs to pop-up mode.
Preview the button on a phone: the sticky version behaves differently.
Hiding the theme Buy now button? Do it under Settings, so the COD button is the obvious action.
Translate the button text on the Translations tab if you sell in more than one language.
