By default, Shopify doesn't allow two key things:
To automatically add an extra fee for choosing Cash on Delivery.
To easily control when the COD payment option is available to customers.
Our app fills this gap, giving you complete control over the entire process.
To understand how the app works, you just need to know its two main modules that cooperate during checkout:
1. Payment Customization
Purpose: This module manages the "Cash on Delivery" payment method itself.
What it does: This is where you decide IF and WHEN a customer will see the COD option at all. For example, you can set a rule to show it only when a customer selects a specific shipping rate (like "Courier with COD").
2. Delivery Customization
Purpose: This module manages your shipping rates.
What it does: This is where all the magic related to fees and filtering happens. This module allows you to:
Add a fee to a specific shipping rate.
Hide or show a shipping rate based on the customer's postal code.
How They Work Together: Both modules work in tandem to create a seamless experience. A customer selects a delivery method (controlled by Delivery Customization), and based on that choice, the system decides whether to show the Cash on Delivery option (controlled by Payment Customization).
What Can You Achieve?
